FOXX Project Water Sensor
The FOXX Project Water Sensor is a battery-powered Z-Wave water sensor with an extremely small form factor. The water sensor will send radio signals up to 6 associated Z-Wave devices within its own Z-Wave network when the water probe detects water.

Bidirectional mounting plate and push button allows for easy end-user installation. Capable of detecting both the absence and presence of water at measurements as small as 0.03% of an inch (1mm), the FOXX Project Water Sensor also offers low-battery.

Compatible with Z-Wave Hubs
FOXX Project's range of Z-Wave accessories are compatible with many of the most popular Z-Wave hubs including Piper, Smart Things, Fibaro and VERA.
Please note: All Foxx Project accessories require a Z-Wave gateway hub.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless product doesn't work with any hub I've tried three of these devices and not one single device has worked. I've tried it with smart things, fibario, openhab and home-assistant and they all have exactly the same issue. They all register the device, but it never sends an alert when it makes contact with water. In fact there is no visible indication on the device that it detects anything, they seem to be in a perpetual sleep state. Simply not fit for purpose, the cynic in me might suggest they have slashed the price to offload the devices

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grabbed 4 of these from my local branch for £4.99 each, a bargain price. Three of them paired up easilly with my SmartThings (v2) Hub following the included instructions. The other needed a factory reset first. Perhaps it had been previously demoed to a customer or some such and needed pairing cleared. The includeded instructions are rather minimal. Aeotech sell the same design, google for their manual pdf as its more detailed, contains the factory reset procedure etc. With SmartThings you may then want to tell the system they are water sensors and not door sensors through the web interface, otherwise they say "open/closed" rather than "wet/dry". Found instructions somewhere online with google for that. After that, they seem to work fine but I can't report on long term use yet.
