Turn the crank and release
Take to the armoury and build your very own catapult with this Hexbug VEX Robotics STEM based learning kit. Featuring over 100 individual pieces you can snap together, you will be knocking down targets in no time. The design of the catapult has been inspired by the pages of time and uses a similar construction to catapults used in and around ancient Greece and used by the might of the Roman army. Wind up the crankshaft to pull the firing arm into position, load your projectile and pull back on the firing mechanism for a controlled launch

Build and learn at the same time
Each stage of constructing the Hexbug VEX catapult has been illustrated in a step by step guide to help you understand how the system of gears, gear linkages, pulleys and elastic can store enough energy to let you launch your projectiles skyward. No glue or batteries are needed to construct your catapult, a unique system of snap together pins ensure everything you need comes in the box, even the ammo is included as two plastic balls will make short work of any target.
