Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was 3rd time lucky, after underpowered junk from Screwfix and Homebase. This was the only connector that worked, or even seemed likely to work with a strong enough 'grip'.

Hi, I have recently moved into a house with only an f connector aerial cable from the wall. My Talktalk youview box requires a coax connection and I have a wire for this which they provided - can this plug be used to join the two and allow my tv to work?

Asked by: cmck123
If the wire is from a TV aerial and not a satellite dish then this item would work fine yes.

The plug appears to be in one how do you access the grub screw???

Asked by: Darich
Answering my own question because I figured it out. There are 4 parts to this. To access the grub screw remove the screw on end, and the cable grip.....slide them onto your coaxial cable. Then the plastic interior part slides out of the plug allowing access to the grub screw. Loosen the screw, attach it to your coaxial cable, then slide it back inside the plug....then you complete the fitting by attaching the grip and then the screw on end.

I have a cable running from my roof tv aerial into my flat, however the end is exposed and there are no connections. I was wondering if this is suitable to attach to the cable so that it will go into the tv. Otherwise what is the best connector to use

Asked by: Robb
Yes this will work fine in your intended application.
