About this product

Overview

Product overview

• Contains 20 metres of black high quality satellite cable and 2 screw-on type F-connectors• Ideal for creating your own extensions or interconnects between satellite receiver and LNB• Suitable for use with Freeview, freesat, Sky+ and Sky HD installations

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not only is it difficult to strip the outer sheath but the copper foil screen wrinkled and breaks into 6mm rings. This is clearly a manufacturing defect as the inner foam insulation is marked by the wrinkles.

Hello Is this the same as Coax cable??

Asked by: Fiona
This is a type of Coaxial cable designed for use with Satellite systems, however it would not be suitable for standard aerial connections. Something like this would be more suitable; http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/low-loss-tv-coax-cable-white-priced-per-metre-xr87u

Quality wise how does this compare to WF100 cable? I am looking to run an extension of about 20m, which is mainly through the loft but does have an external run of about 3m.

Asked by: Andy
This cable compares very well . its a very sturdy cable and will work fine in your intended application.

Which screw-on type F-connector would you recommend (I realise there are 2 screw-on type F-connectors already supplied within the kit)? Thanks.

FU04 would be absolutely fine.
