I have several of these lying unused, because I do not know which of your resistors is needed in series to reduce mains voltage from 240v AC to the required 3v @ 25mA. Can you help, please? Many thanks.

Asked by: Gordon
The Led is 3v DC so you would need more than a resistor, you would need a circuit to change from ac to dc.

If I stick 5V dc through the LED, will it survive?

Asked by: Aldo
The internal LED is only rated at 3V DC so we would not recommend connecting this to a 5V supply without the appropriate resistor which would depend on the rest of the circuit.

Could this be used for switching 5A 12Vdc ?
Asked by: John
No sorry this product does not support that.

How does this switch actualy open the door?. Is there a machine that fits in the door?
Asked by: Imad
You would need the reveven circuitry for all of that, this is just a button.

I''ve noticed on the switch there is 4 connectors at the back. What does each set of connectors do? Is one power for the LED and the other set for the circuit switch? Many Thanks
Asked by: Rich T
Exactly that.

Hi, you said that these were sealed units, you can however remove the clip-on button front to insert labels.
