Rated 1 out of 5 by from I was sent a total of 3 of these units and none of them worked......suspect pic chips were not flashed......can't fault the customer service for speed though!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Kit was supplied with bank Pic's so unless you have a programmer and source or prepared to write your own code its a waste of time and money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Momentary only, no latching This is a very disappointing kit. Supplied to Maplin by Middlesex University as a teaching resource. I would expect it would be educational and useful as it has two relays. However the unit can operate both relays in momentary mode only. That is, while you press the button the relay is activated and thus losing the entire magic a relay provides. This contraption has thrown away the educational value of demonstrating relays and provided an overly complicated ... push button. An elaborate waste of time of no educational value. Lets hope this is not a reflection of the teachers leaving MUTR.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Same problem as previous 2 reviewers I suspect - PIC not programmed - transmitter doesn't transmit anything with either PIC.
