I need a back up hard drive to plug into a CCTV system which specifies a USB 2 device formatted to FAT 32.   Will this be suitable.  I have tried a USB 3 device compatible with USB 2 which is not recognised

Asked by: David 2947
It may depend on the model of DVR , but ours can only take a 16gb flash drive that is formatted , USB 3 is backwards compatible , it's just the speeds you would be unable to achieve .
