What can I play on this turntable?
Enjoy your vinyl collection with this fun turntable. Light up your turntable while you’re listening to your music with the built-in multi-colour LED. You can play for 33 1/3 rpm and 45 rpm records using the adapters in the box, and play 78 rpm records with a 78 rpm stylus (sold separately) with the three speed drive belt. You can protect your vinyl and turntable with the hinged dust cover.

What is different with this turntable?
Have a party with the built-in multi-colour LEDs that light up the body of the turntable. The lights spin and blink, making a fun backdrop to your music. You can also listen to your vinyl without a computer using the twin phono (RCA) line level outputs, which are great for hearing your music through powered speakers.

What else can I use my turntable for?
As well as playing your records, you can convert them into digital files using your computer with this turntable. Ion’s free downloadable EZ Vinyl/Tape Convertor software lets you convert your records quickly and easily so you can listen to them wherever you go. The turntable is compatible with Windows and Mac computers and comes with a USB cable to connect the vinyl player directly to them.

Where could I get a speaker for this turntable?

Hi, I was hoping you could clarify for me something. Does this have a built in pre-amp? Or does it require an amp to be bought alongside it? If you could let me know if it can just be plugged straight into speakers it would be greatly appreciated!

Asked by: Rosie
From the description: it has a phono pre-amp (presumably with equalisation), as it says it has a line-level output rather than phono. But no amplifier as such, I. e. to drive speakers you'd need an external amp., or to use speakers with their own amp. built-in (most computer speakers these days do have such). The pre-amp _might_ drive headphones (though the connectors are wrong so you'd need an adaptor).

Can I play my vinyl without having the LED light on?

Asked by: Natha
Not on this player ... the LEDS are always illuminated during playback ... If you don't want LEDS then an alternate player would be http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/ion-max-lp-turntable-with-speakers-n11dz
