About this product

Product overview

• Ideal for switching up to 1400W of lights or appliances within the garden• Triggered by twilight - as daylight fades a sensor activates the switch• Timer control for up to 8 hours• Weatherproof - IP44 rated• Includes mounting screws

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am quite impressed with this product!. It is well made and of high quality. It has versatile mounting options and gives the choice of two alternative cable entry positions (both well sealed) which proved useful in my case. It works perfectly (although I have only had it for a couple of weeks now) and the user adjustable "time on" feature is very clever with acoustic signals to confirm settings and works well. It appears very well sealed against water ingress and up to now I am very pleased with my purchase. I will update in say a years time to hopefully confirm it's longevity.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not quite what it seems If you are looking for a device to switch on your lights at dusk and then switch them off after 1 to 8 hours then be warned. (Check the Questions and Answers) This will switch them off, but if it is still dark when the pre programmed time is reached, it will switch them back on again. This defeats the object of having a timer rather than just a dawn to dusk sensor. Suggest you use a Dawn toDusk sensor connected to lights via a cheap time switch, which is what I ended up having to do.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Seems good Purchased this thinking it was 12 volt only as it didn't say it was 240 volt mains. Anyway will use it with another part of my outdoor lighting which is mains. Looks ok

If it is still dark when the timer has reached the programmed point at which it should switch off, will the sensor activate the timing sequence again.  E.g. If set for 2 hours, the timer switches on at dusk, after 2 hours off & remains off for 24 hours.

This item is titled as being IP54 rated, but the overview section says it it IP44 rated. Which is it, please?

Asked by: Beejay
This item is IP54 rated not IP44. I apologise for the confusion caused by the description.
