About this product

Overview

Product overview

• Connect a line level audio device or pre-amplifier to a speaker
• Get 12W of sound for 4-16Ω speakers
• No parts to solder - just connect to your speaker, input and power source
• Requires a 6-16V DC power supply (not included)

What can this module do?
Listen to your audio though your speakers with this 12W amplifier (manufacturer code M032). Connect a line level audio source like a mixer or pre-amp and listen to it through your 4-16Ω speakers. With a frequency range of 40Hz to 20kHz you can hear everything. Get up to 12W of power using a 16V power source and a 4Ω speaker. The small casing means that you can fit this 72mm x 36mm x 23mm module almost anywhere.

Is any assembly required?
No assembly is required with this module. All you need to do is connect your power supply, input and output. When connecting the module using the bare wires take care with polarity to the DC power supply. No additional heatsinks are required as the module case is made of a special high heat-conductive plastic with electronic protection from overheating and overloading.

What else can I do with this kit?
If you are looking to link your audio equipment to your speakers to create your own sound system, this kit would be a great choice. The module would easily mounted inside a project and a potentiometer (not included) could be added on the input as a volume control. This kit requires a 6-16V DC power supply (not included).

where do you connect the 6-16 volt dc supply . What is the current consumption of the unit when supplied with 12volts dc

Asked by: John
The inputs for power are clearly marked on the device, you can see them on the right hand side in the image. Two wire tails come out of the device for connection to a power source Maximum current consumption would be 800 mA KEMO have a diagram on their website that illustrates the connection of the device a little better if you are unsure. The text is in German, but the pictures are pretty comprehensive https://www.kemo-electronic.de/images/ipics/M032N/M032N_16024OM_ans.png
