About this product

Product overview

• Connect a low power audio device like a microphone to an amplifier or active speaker
• Boost a weak signal to line level
• No parts to solder - just connect the leads to your device
• Requires a 9-24V DC power supply (not included)

What can this module do?
Boost a low power signal from a microphone to a level that can go into an amplifier with this pre-amp module (manufacturer code M040N). This pre-amplifier works on a single channel, perfect for use with mono audio devices. You can amplify frequencies between 20Hz and 20kHz, the normal human hearing range. Sized just 30mm x 25mm x 15mm with sealed components, this module can fit in almost anywhere.

Does this come assembled?
This module comes assembled. All you need to do is connect your power supply, input and output. When connecting the module using the bare wires take care with polarity to the DC power supply.

What else can I do with this kit?
This is a great kit for those looking to create their own sound system or connect up their audio equipment. The module can easily be mounted into a project, or you could connect suitable terminals to make connecting and disconnecting easier. This kit requires a 9-24V DC power supply (not included).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of gain and very low noise. Suitable for driving most solid state power amp modules to full output from a moving coil microphone. Just make sure you give it nice clean DC by decoupling its power line with something like 4.7K and a 1000 mfd capacitor.
