About this product

Product overview

• Build an electronic die for games
• Solder a kit with a random 1-6 number generator
• Simple to solder with 20 parts
• Requires two AA batteries (not included, Order Code L43AL)

What can I use the dice kit with?
Never be without dice again, build an electronic die (manufactures code 1009) and use for board games. Press the start button and the Pic micro-controller generates a random number between one and six and displays it using dots like real dice. The dice dots are made from six individual LEDs.

What is included in this kit?
Great for introducing the basics of electronics this kit uses LEDS, resistors, a microchip and switch. Learn how to solder components and what uses they have in a circuit with this fun kit. This kit requires soldering and may require wire cutters, screwdriver and wire strippers (not included).

How easy is it to solder?
This kit is easy to solder and makes a great addition to any game with friends and family. Once you’ve built the kit you may want to build an enclosure to protect it (not included), just take care not to block any switches or LEDs. Power the kit with three AA batteries (not included - do not use a 9V battery instead as it will destroy the integrated circuit).
