I am replacing a cap. on an old &nbsp;sewing machine foot control. The item removed is stated as type 470B and specifies 0.1 micro farad, 500v dc and temp 70deg.C. Is this metallised propylene 500v 0.1 suitable. Thanks for your help. Regards Ian.

Can the wires on each end be extended?, as I cannot get the capacitor directly on the motor terminals.
