• Works as part of the LightwaveRF home automation range
• Compatible with Amazon Echo and Google Play
• Requires optional LightwaveRF WiFi Link to use the app

How does this light switch work?
The LightwaveRF four gang light switch allows you to replace your standard light switch with LightwaveRF technology. You can control this from one of the handheld remotes from the range or even use your smartphone, tablet or computer to turn the socket on and off. This can prove invaluable for security purposes when you are out of the house to deter burglars.

How easy is the switch to install?
If you have a working knowledge of household electrics you should be able to install the socket yourself. It is installed in the same way, straight into a standard 25mm or 35mm back box, and uses the current household wiring without the need to re-wire your home. If you are unsure about connecting the dimmer switch to the mains, we recommend you consult a qualified electrician.

Please note: To use the app with this product, you will require the optional LightwaveRF Wi-Fi Link. N55LL or A23RX

Hi, How would this switch be affected if I was running a mix of no-dimmable LED and halogen on a gang ? Does it just not dimm or does it damage the switch. Is it possible to just use these switches in Smart mode and not use the dimm function?

Hi again, I have purchased a gang 4 master, but 2 of the gangs is on another switch, should I use a 2 gang slave there or can I just leave the standard switch in place ?

As Technical Support Advisors we cannot offer full advice on mains electrical installations, this job would be best left down to the professionals, if you are at all unsure we would strongly recommend consulting a qualified electrician for help and support or to complete the job for you.

Hi, Thanks for your answer regarding a 4 gang and 2 gang. If I run a LightwaveRF master, do I need to run a RF slave switch or can I just leave the 2 gang as a traditional switch. Thats obviously with the lightwave WIFI hub.

Asked by: Gary_T
This would also need to be updated for the item to work.

Hi, Can this switch work in conjunction with another 2 gang for example ? My 4 gang operates 2 outside lights, then the other 2 for inside lights which are also operated from a 2 gang upstairs... GT>

Asked by: Gary_T
No, you can only have 1 master going to each light, for your format you would need a slave unit.

Hi, Whats the difference between this switch '440' and the other cheaper device ? Thx, Gary

Asked by: Gary_T
This is the newer model, the older models are cheaper to clear them as they are discontinued.

What's the difference(apart from cost) between this and product  n34ll? Does it include four dimable rf relays?

Asked by: Jasgaw
The more expensive one allows for LED bulbs to be dimmed also, whereas the cheaper one only supports incandescent bulbs.
