What is this device for?
This LED driver allows you to power low voltage LED lights through your mains. As LEDs use a constant DC voltage to operate optimally, this item is essential when wanting to power them. This particular driver will enable you to change the white LEDs at will and will also allow you to switch the lights on and off with a remote handset or even the dedicated LightwaveRF app.

Please note: To use the app with this product, you will require the optional LightwaveRF Wi-Fi Link. N55LL or A23RX

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Working, but not as described by Maplin. I bought this it item a few weeks ago as advertised is "LightwaveRF LW575 230V LED Driver Module and Remote for White LEDs" (in the description it even referring to running from "mains") the only problem I have with this is that it is not running from 230v but 12v. I managed to make the item work after acquiring a 230v to 12v supply to drive this unit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It works, but read closely! This is not exactly a driver. It's more of an inline relay. It requires 12V in and is 12V out. The description is very misleading and should be changed. To power LEDs, you will need an actual driver that converts 240V to 12V. Connect this to the output of the driver, and then the lights to this device.

Can you confirm that this definitely accepts a 230v input please? Zooming in on the product label in the images, it states 12v input.

Asked by: David248
The 12v input is for the LED bulbs. the main box is powered from your 230v mains
