What makes this different from the previous version?
This new version of the LightwaveRF Wi-Fi Link is more compact in size and weight, allowing you to place the device more discreetly than before.

How does this Wi-Fi Link work?
The LightwaveRF Wi-Fi Link works by linking wirelessly to your pre-existing internet router. This allows you to control your LightwaveRF devices from your smart device through the dedicated app from wherever you have access to the internet.

How easy is it to install?
As there is no complex wiring, this device is easy to install. Simply plug the Wi-Fi Link in to your router with the included Ethernet cable and plug into the mains. Now you can set up the rest of your LightwaveRF devices to the Wi-Fi Link so you can control them from your smart device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LightwaveRF wifi link The unit arrived in good time and I set it up at home so as to iron out any "bugs" before installing it in it's final location. I was pleasantly surprised when it booted up and connected to the internet/found the 3 way relay unit all with the minimum input from myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable and easy to use After using Z-Wave and Elgato Eve and giving up on them I decided to try LightwaveRF. I have the Link, 9 sockets and a PIR everything works great, no delays and no sockets not responding, I wish I started off with these first and saved a lot of money. I'm more than happy with this system and will expand it as and when I need to, it looks like they are continually developing it as well with the support of the Amazon Echo and IFTTT. The only downside is the LightwaveRF Link isn't as flexible as others on the market but if your looking for basic and reliable home automation system I have no issue in recommending this system. You also do not get confirmation if a device has been switched or the status, however so far I've had %100 reliability so I'm not that worried about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice little piece of kit Got it and plugged it in to my router, basically that was it! Ok ok, not quite, I had to download the app too and pair with it physically to get control. No complications though, and now I can control my wall switches stuck forever out of reach behind my TV cabinet - nice!
