Ever dreamt of becoming an inventor? Well, here’s your chance. Connect modules together in different ways to create new and exciting kit. Create a cooling campfire, hypnotising wheel, truck crane, bubble flute, monsters and bots. Play around with 10 projects in the instruction booklet and thousands of possible combinations. Power your inventions from a single <9V (PP3) battery
> (included – replacement Order Code L46AL). Experiment as you like with the magnetic clip-together modules - you can’t connect them the wrong way round. Which modules are included?
With 12 modules see what you can create. There are five inputs including a slide dimmer great as a volume or light control, pulse switches an output on and off rapidly. A touch activated pressure sensor, sound trigger and roller switch so it is turned on when the roller is pressed or released are also part of the kit. What will your circuit do? There is plenty to choose from with a vibration motor, long LED - with cable so you can use it away from the module - servo motor perfect for robots and models and a fan to keep you cool or blow amazing bubbles. The kit comes with servo accessories, a vibesnap to help connect thin items to your motor and a screwdriver to help you create your projects. What can I learn from this kit?
Learn how to build a circuit with the easy-to-experiment modules. The kit comes with four types of colour coded modules and how they are set up will change what can happen. The power module is blue and always comes first. Inputs are coloured pink they decide when and how the circuit works and affects everything in the circuit after them. Outputs are in green and they do something they move, light or make a sound. Wires and connectors are in orange and can let you use the modules further away from each other or split the circuit so you can do to or three things in the same set. What can I do next?
Try your hand at the 10 projects in the instruction booklet then branch out and design your own circuits - the only limit is your imagination. Some projects require additional everyday objects and may require adult supervision. Each littleBits kit is compatible with each other, so you can keep adding to your projects and building bigger and greater.
