Product overview

  • General purpose operational amplifier
  • Direct, plug-in replacement of TO9C, LM201, MC1439 and 789 in most applications
  • Overload protection
  • No latch up
  • Provides freedom from oscillators

The LM741 is a general purpose operational amplifier which feature improved performance over industry standards like the LM709. They are direct, plug-in replacements for the 709C, LM201, MC1439 and 748 in most applications. The amplifiers offer many features which make their application nearly foolproof: overload protection on the input and output, no latch-up when the common mode range is exceeded, as well as freedom from oscillations.

A project I'm starting says the chip needs to meet specifics such as "1.5 MHz, 0.5 V/µs, 10V to 44V, DIP, 8 Pins" Does this product have the same specifications? Many thanks.

Hi, I need a replacement for a UA741TC op-amp chip in a guitar distortion pedal circuit and can't find any with that code, is this basically the same thing?
Asked by: Richie Lesbirel
Unfortunately not, it would need to be the exact code.
