Product overview

• Wireless 2.4GHz keyboard for a reliable connection
• Low profile keys for comfortable typing
• Everything you’ll need with a keyboard and touchpad
• Plug and play compatible with Windows, Android and Chrome
• Powered by two AA batteries, lasting for up to 18 months

What can I do with this keyboard?
Replace your keyboard and mouse with this great keyboard and touchpad combination. The keyboard has low profile keys, designed to offer comfort and reduce noise from clicking. The keyboard comes with multimedia keys and hotkeys. The touchpad give you a 90mm (3.5 inch) active area to move your cursor, zoom and more. The K400 plus uses a reliable 2.4GHz wireless radio frequency and can be used up to 10m from the receiver. Comfortable to use even for long periods, the slim keyboard gives you a good angle for typing and has a solid back for use anywhere.

What functions does the touchpad have?
The touchpad completely replaces the need for a mouse. With a 76mm x 47mm active area you can move your cursor all over your screen and comes with right and left click buttons. The touchpad can also be used to click with and without buttons and scroll quickly and easily.

What features does the keyboard have?
22 shortcut options give you simple, one-touch commands for your video, computer shortcuts, internet and music. Mute, play, and adjust your volume from the comfort of your keyboard or switch screens, show desktop, pull up your menu or even print screen using the Fn key with the F keys and others. The K400 is powered by two AA batteries and you can go up to 18 months without replacing your battery.

What is this keyboard compatible with?
The keyboard is compatible with Windows 7, 8 and 10. With its plug and play connectivity, just plug in the USB receiver and start writing, it’s that easy. Even the multimedia keys work without software and are great for PC connected TVs as a HTPC keyboard. With the Logitech Unifying Receiver you can connect up to six compatible devices to the single USB receiver.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works well - let down by build quality Works straight out of the box without any setup on an android box. Comes complete with batteries that will apparently last a considerable time. There is also an off switch to avoid any unnecessary usage. The touch pad as a mouse works and the arrows on the keyboard are good for scrolling. It works. However, Im sure if I, or one of my kids drop it, it will split into bits. Build quality is cheap. Expected better from Logitech, but then the price is not bad for a wireless keyboard with a touchpad. I'd recommend it if you were keeping it on a desktop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plug in and works This keyboard has been plugged into a windows 7 then when upgraded windows 10. We liked the K400 and the K400 plus with a bit larger touch pad area is easier to move around the screen. The dedicated keys for audio above the touch pad make this so useful for being used in a media player situation. Works very well with stick PC's like Meego2. With BBC iplayer being changed so often a stick PC and this keyboard make an ideal partnership. To get the best out of this keyboard download the Logitech free support and the keyboard can be configured to your preferences

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost there...! Great little keyboard generally, but, I bought this for LG SmartTV, WebOS, 2017 model and it works... sort of, if you have a UK TV even with TV language and location set to UK it will not be recognised as UK by the TV! The UK Character set is not recognised! So, you will need the US/International version for LG TVs, LG and Logitech say contact the other for support......! I now have a nice keyboard that is of limited use, Be warned, check that it is compatible with your devices and needs!!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from great product but has a silly oversight i use this keyboard regularly as an alternative to my laptop keyboard and i am very happy with the size, feel and use of it. Just a couple of gripes though ... the function keys do not work as they should and i cannot find any info / manuals on how to set them up for Windows. Secondly, there is nowhere to store the dongle when not in use. It would have been simple to put a small locator on the keyboard to store the dongle safely much as you find on wireless mice. Shame this has been missed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good keyboard mouse combo I bought this as I use Kodi media centre and I wanted a keyboard with an integrated mouse pad that could control it. If I'm searching programmes I have to use the keyboard over the on screen Kodi keyboard as it takes ages to type that way. It's a good keyboard mouse combo. The only thing that caught me out when I opened the box was where is the USB receiver. It's under a label called USB as soon as you pop the lid of the box open but it's so tiny it can be easily hidden!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good Purpose of this keyboard is to be a handy sofa keyboard for my RaspberryPi. I've read other reviews and was a bit concerned about the quality (I would expect rather robust product from Logitech) but when unpacked the keyboard and started using it - I have to admit that maybe it's not top-shiny-polymer quality but I've seen more expensive ones and much poorer manufactured. It's very quiet which is great for late use. Surprisingly well planned - touch pad works well and there is even "scroll lock" with double touch, obviously it can't match a mouse attached to USB by cable (actually all wireless mouses I've had failed my expectations as I demand precision necessary for graphic design). The only thing are the unusual cursor keys - I tend to press Shift instead of Up especially when playing games but I assume this is the drawback for limited compact space and that keyboard is handy. To my surprise it turns on TV attached to RasPi when key is pressed (nice). For that price I think it's very good and just serves the purpose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As easy as it gets Take the keyboard and dongle out the box plug the dongle into a spare USB port and you're done. The touch pad is a lot more responsive then I though it would be but without you mouse flying all over your screen at the slightest touch. I've had it about 12 months now with no problems and its still on the original batteries.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hidden Wireless Dongle Like many others I was initially fooled into thinking the wireless dongle was missing, on opening the battery cover there is just a hole where the dongle should be. On closer inspection I found it on the back of the battery compartment cover.

Thanks for the answer Les, can I assume that the signal is an analogue radio signal and, more specifically, not a pulsed digital transmission?

Yes, this analogue radio.

is this keyboard bluetooth or wifi?

Asked by: pal77
Clarification: it is neither .. it uses a dedicated radio frequency to transmit between the keyboard and the receiver dongle. It operates using a different principle to Wi-Fi and a completely different technology to Bluetooth.
