Reasons to pick the Makey Makey Invention Kit
The Makey Makey is a gamepad style circuit board that allows you to connect anything that has the potential to conduct electricity, and to use as part of your control mechanism for any home computer. The circuit board contacts can be linked to anything conductive, and when that object is then linked to the ground to finish the connection, it sends the corresponding signal to say that button was pressed.

The Makey Makey supports Arduino IDE and can very easily be reprogrammed, but you can use its stock features the second it’s installed to a computer.

Connections and Expansion
If you have something conductive, you can connect it, be it liquids, fruits, cutlery, animals, or even people, it will not damage or harm anyone or anything connected.

The front of the Makey Makey supports 6 easily connected control inputs, including Up, Down, Left, Right, as well as Space Bar, and Left Mouse Click. On the back of the Makey Makey you are provided with 12 Keys in total providing a range of key presses that can be reconfigured to any other keys using Arduino IDE.

What will you make?
The Makey Makey Invention Kit allows a world of possibility, from learning application, to musical and support, if you can think of it, you can probably make it. Want to use a banana as a keyboard? Go ahead. Want to turn your stairs into a piano, no problem. You can even create your own dance mat if you like.

Ease of Use
Artists, Kids, Educators, Engineers, Hackers, Designers, Inventors, Makers; it was designed for everyone. It’s could be used by children to create their own controllers or for engineers to develop helping aid based applications. The possibilities are truly endless.

Examples
The Makey Makey Invention Kit provides huge potential, some great, and easy examples include:
An Operations style game,
A Monome,
Even make your own Piano,
Or better yet, a Vegetable piano!
