can the voltage converter be used 24hrs a day running a 80 watt air compressor pump

Asked by: raym
No, I am sorry but this will not be suitable for running 24 / they can only be ran for around 4 hours then need to rest. The more expensive versions can be used in this manner: http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/tacima-110v-to-230v-1000w-voltage-converter-n60hf

Will my 230v hairdryers work on this

the device has a max safe working load of 300 Watts, hairdryers (even travel ones) typically have a much higher wattage than this.

Hi - Will this voltage convertor work with a 110 v piece of equipment, which is a small lathe, and step up the voltage to 230v with no disadvantage to the operation of the equipment?

Asked by: Anonymous
It's really going to depend on the operational power of the lathe. You need to check the wattage of your device. If it exceeds 300w then this unit is not suitable.
