Securely dispose of your paper
The cross cutting function adds extra security and peace of mind for destroying important documents such as credit card receipts, banking information, etc. The smaller shred particles not only provide higher security but also significantly reduces bulk waste. With the ever increasing awareness about personal identity fraud no home or small office should be without one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The cross-cut paper shredder does its job well but the motor runs for a long time ( about five seconds) after the paper is shredded. I like the separate collecting bin for the CDs as it's easier for recycling the output. The biggest disadvantage is that the number of cutters for the CDs was not mentioned and I assumed that there would be quite a few. There only 2. While this may be OK for CDs, it is not good enough for credit cards. I used to cut them with tough-cut scissors ensuring that I cut through the chip and the magnetic stripe. I will continue to do so. If the problem is in the power of the motor, I would have preferred say 10 times the cutters and geared down to run 10 times as slowly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Constantly jamming. Struggles to shred only 3 sheets of paper. And now the gear box has snapped. CD cutter is ok for cd's but useless for credit cards as it contains only two blades. Credit cards can easily be put together and information gathered. Machine is only 3 months old but will be consigned to the dustbin

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy with this shredder. Struggles with more than 2 sheets of paper. Machine costantly jams where the shredder paper is not pushed clear of the shredding unit but wraps itself around it causing the machine to slow. I am constantly having to manually clear this paper wrapped around the shredding unit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only ever loaded max 5 sheets of A4 at a time, yet shredder has jammed right in the centre of the feeder. I'm unable to clear the jam from inside of the top cover, and I'm unable to remove the top to get at the jam. Looks like its destined for the bin ! What is the point of a shredder where you are unable to get at the mechanism to clear jams ? Would not buy again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought then shredder yesterday, shredded 4 CD's and 7 sheets of paper and the motor has packed up, loads of smoke coming from the motor. Now got to spend more time taking the thing back

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I bought this shredder in store, but felt compelled to create an account just to write this review in the hope of warning others away from this product. Instructions for use: 1. Shred 5-10 pieces of normal weight A4 paper. Do not feed more than 2 sheets at a time, as this will bring the motor to a virtual standstill. 2. Check the contents of the bin. By now you will probably notice that the papers are no longer being cross shredded, but just strip shredded. 3. Spend the next 30 minutes cleaning the shredder mechanism in an effort to get it cross shredding again. 4. Repeat from step 1. This product is, in my opinion, completely unfit for purpose. Rather than saving me effort, I have spent 4-6 times the amount of time cleaning the darn thing to get it vaguely working for another 2 minutes than I have actually feeding any paper into it. I have a high volume of shredding to do as I attempt a major spring clean of my papers. I have now had to admit defeat and shall be looking for an external shredding service as I simply cannot afford to waste so much time achieving so little.
