About this product

Product overview

• A high quality audio connector with die-cast metal housing and plated brass contacts• Line socket has an integral cable clamp, chassis mounting plug requires a 16mm diameter panel cutout• Chassis mounting plug requires a 16mm diameter panel cutout• Current rating: 5A at AC 50V

Plugs and sockets supplied separately. Please note that socket type connectors are required for microphone connections to mobile transceivers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for LV/LAmps projects. I've used these for various projects around my telescopes including power to the mount, the dew controller and a ccd camera. The screw in nature makes largely moisture proof and it doesn't fall out easily when the mount moves. I anticipate using a few more of these in the coming months.

"Connection at the rear is via solder buckets" Please tell me what solder buckets are and how you use them without melting the plastic. Thanks.
Asked by: TJ
Solder buckets are U shaped cups to sit the cable on which are then soldered.
