What makes this dehumidifier unique?
This dehumidifier removes up to 600ml of humidity from the air every day into its 2.2 litre tank or using the hose. The mechanical controls give you full control of the dehumidifier so that you can set it and leave it alone to run. The dehumidifier is as quiet as a refrigerator, outputting 43dB of noise when in use and is powered using a mains plug. While only running at one consistent speed, it can operate in a range of temperate up to 40°C, while being a compact design and weighing only 2.1Kg.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fixed the problem Bought this 2 weeks ago for my north facing built in wardrobe which has had damp in the cold weather for years and years. I have tried heaters which only work up to a point. I keep my shoes in their original boxes and still I have had to throw some out due to mould. I am getting about 3 tablespoons of water from this a day, that water would have ended up in my clothes and shoes. I am running it continuously at the moment and while I am still getting that amount of water from it I shall keep running it. It makes a low humming noise but when the wardrobe door is shut you can barely hear it. Nice slim design so it doesn't take up much room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this for a campervan but I have been also using it in the laundry room where it can get humid. It is a nice design, tall and slim with a sizeable collection tank (2.2 litres) which is very suitable for small rooms and closets. This means you don't have to empty it so often as others you see elsewhere. In operation it gives off a quiet hum. I did a lot of research on dehumidifiers and I am very pleased with this one. A very good buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this two weeks ago to run in my motorhome, to ward off damp during the Winter lay up. I am running it through a timer for 12 hours, 3 days a week, and so far it has half filled the container, so it's obviously doing its job well. I particularly like the overflow option, which means I can run any excess down the sink rather than worry about it overflowing or cutting out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Recently purchased this.So far I have found it very efficient.Certainly got rid of atmospheric damp.Truly amazing. I do run it for about 2-3 hours and it gets rid of the condensation on my windows. The downside is that the transformer gets very hot and I would not leave it on without supervision. Well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This dehumidifier is a good size & price - works really well. It collected lots of water & for the last month has no problems. Fills container every week, 1 in a bathroom & 1 in a bedroom, good price but I do turn the machine off at night as a bit noisy to sleep with

Rated 3 out of 5 by from was doing a very good job and used it every day to dry out the small bedroom.it then over heated and went bang not happy only used for 2weeks. If you buy this unit make sure you are in the room when it is in use

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The unit proved to be very inefficient when compared with my Ebac. E.g. in my bathroom (with warm water in the bath) it extracted just 16 mL in two hours. The Ebac collected 370 mL in the same time. I noted that the actual power consumed is not 70 watts as described, but a measly 48. Hence the running cost of this device to extract 1 litre is about 90p. The Ebac (costing three times the price) does the same job for 12p.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I have two brick built workshops in my rear garden. In the winter they get a bit damp so I bought 2 of these to see if it helped. They work ok (apparently) but one of them keeps getting a huge build up of ice on the rear vent. I'm waiting to find out if this is normal if there's a lot of moisture in the air . Otherwise they seem to work ok.

I am unable to find the power lead, I know it's a 12v 240v psu , but am u sure if it's a 1000mh or will a 500mh suffice

Asked by: Barry212
The unit requires a dedicated Psu of 12V 5.8A (70w) which we don't sell i'm afraid .

The power adapter gets very hot. Almost too hot to hold. Is this usual?

Asked by: ChrisM
The power adapter may get warm to touch, but not too hot to touch , This may need to be exchanged for safety reasons.

Does the unit shut down when the tank is full? And, is the switch mechanical? (I need it to be left switched on, as I will remotely switch on power via LightwaveRF.)

Asked by: Andy
Yes, if using the tank there is an auto-shut off when the tank is full, although there is a connection point where you can enable continuous running via a drainage hose. The power switch is a physical rocker switch so remote power control via Lightwave is possible.
