does this lead allow you to play a ps one through a pocket tv by converting the old style co-ax OUTPUT to a 3.5mm jack INPUT into the pocket tv.

can i use this to convert from a 3.5 digital output port on a PC sound card to a coaxal ouput then run a cord from that to my surround sound? and will it carry 5.1 surround sound if that is what the digital port is putting out?
