Overview

Product overview

  • 4mm black plug with sprung, nickel-plated pin to ensure good contact
  • 15mm long pin with an overall length of 48mm
  • Suitable for use with 4mm sockets

A 4mm plug with sprung, nickel-plated pin to ensure good contact. Pin is 15mm long and overall length is 48mm. This plug is suitable for use with the 4mm sockets, below.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 4mm Plug Generally I prefer this type of plug over the standard "Banana" plug, finding that these tend to give a better grip in the socket. The Sleeves are a simple hard plastic tube held on by a screw which also acts as a clamp for the wire should you not wish to solder the connection. Rated at only 30V and with an exposed clamp screw, understandably so, they are limited in use but excellent within their limitations. A minor plus is the fact that the sleeve will fit over both end of the plug so if you forget to put it on the wire before attaching the plug, its not a problem.
