Product overview

50 Ohm twist on plug Nickel-plated brass BNC plugs For use with coaxial cables

Nickel-plated brass BNC plugs with gold-plated pins.To fit, strip outer sheath then fold the screen back over the outer sheath, then strip the inner sheath and screw the plug on.

Could you give more information of how to dress the end of the RG58 cable prior to screwing it into the plug. Your information regarding the inner cable leads to shorts to the body of the plug.

Asked by: J Spencer
You should trim all the outer sheathing back so only the copper core comes out of the end, the outer of the plug is the ground, on most cables of this nature, this would be between the copper core and the plastic coating.

As this plug is a screw-on, and diameter is all-important, will this plug fit snugly on RG58C/U?

Asked by: mlhifi
Yes this will be fine

Hello, I have the two camera 4-way dvr set plus an extra camera I bought later and now want to connect to an existing BNC Cable. I want male and female ends that I can attach to this cable myself. Are these available to connect without any tools?.
