This gives you enough space for a combination of 3600 images at 10 megapixels, 160 minutes of 1080p video, 4000 MP3 songs and still have room for 16GB of office files such as text documents and spreadsheets.

What can I do with a USB flash drive?
Flash drives are commonly used for storing documents to transfer between PCs. You can also plug them into compatible head units in cars, so you can play your favourite music without being limited to the small memory capacity of CDs. You can even use them to play your favourite movies on a compatible television. This gives you a durable memory stick which can perform a variety of tasks.

can I use this on the usb socket of my Samsung tv (which has twin tuners) to record and play back freeview channels using the epg and how many hours of programmes could I record?

Asked by: docms
This would be entirely dependant on your TV's capabilities. I would suggest querying this with the manufacturer of the TV.

What is the formatting on these sticks, please. I'm looking for FAT32 as my car will only connect with FAT32 memory.

Asked by: Rozza
FAT 32 is the standard format, but if it needs to be, the format can be changed by plugging it into a PC.

The site makes much of the 5Gb/s transfer speed, but what are the read and write speeds? The reviews implu 'fast' but figures would be more useful. This information is also missing for most of the USB sticks. .
Asked by: David Ledger
The read write speeds for this one are: 80mbps read / 18mbps write
