Product overview

20-Pin 4.2mm (0.165in.) pitch polarised power connectors, as used on ATX motherboards. The connectors are line versions, designed for attaching to cables, comprising of a housing and 20 crimp/solder terminals. The housings are made from Nylon 66, to UL94V-2.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So, I've just spent 2 hours trying in different ways to solder cables into these connectors. No matter how I do it, I cant get the part that should be folded around the cable core small enough for it to fit and lock into the body. It's not down to my soldering either. If I just try to fold up the cable core clamp using pliers, it still isn't small enough to fit into the body and latch in place. I don't think Maplin should be describing this as solderable as it's not.
