Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Signal-to-noise. Absurdly low headroom. It's terrible. It's so noisy, any signals with dynamic range are lost in the hiss. When plugging in *most* line level devices, the headroom is so low that it distorts the signal. Even when using padding to get a good level, you find that the SNR is then too much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing for price just got this its really very good compared to iphone 6 or laptops own dac only gripe is it doesnt produce much volume so wont drive high inpedence headphones like hd650 but works great with sennheiser mommentum. produces a very nice soundstage. no drivers are necessary. for the price sound upgrade is huge compared to my laptops own soundcard.

Bought this yesterday, but have very little sound when volume turned up to max. I have a sony vaio laptop running windows 10. Could you please advise?

Asked by: Baggy81
This will only give the sound signal out, the volume would be down to the speakers / amplifier connected to this.
