I need to connect a CD player and amplifier which has bnc fittings. Can this carry a stereo signal? Your description says mono.

Asked by: MarkMK
The question is a little confusing, does the amp and the CD player both have BNC or just the CD or just the Amp, is there a single BNC for audio or is it a pair (left & right audio) I'm going to assume just the Amp, although I've never seen one with BNC inputs. This is a single core cable so would be mono, you would need 2 for stereo. More so it is usually used for CCTV signal with a 75 ohm impedance so I can't imagine it being any good for audio interconnect. If there are 2 audio inputs on your amp (left & right audio in), and they are BNC then the easiest option would be to change them to RCA / PHONO with Once you change them to PHONO you should be able to connect just about anything with the right cables. If this doesn't help try emailing in your question with some photos of the connectors on both devices to and we will endeavour to assist you.
