There seem to be several "standard" configurations for the 8-pin DIN. For example, there are many sold that have pin-8 in line with pins 1 and 3. Does anyone know if this plug has pin 8 is in the exact centre or if it is slightly off-centre?

Asked by: grixxles
The central pin is off centre.

Is the centre pin (pin-8) slightly off-centre or is it in the exact centre, in line with pin-1 and pin-3? Thanks.

Asked by: grixxles
This is wired in the standard 8 pin DIN configuration.

Hi, is FJ91Y a Full Circle DIN (270 degree) connector or the slightly rarer 262 degree U type? I am after the 262 degree but its hard to tell from the description / pictures...
Asked by: Alex
I'm afraid it's the standard Full circle 270.

What cable do i need for a 8 pin DIN connector ?
Asked by: Cononor
This will depend on how many of the 8 pins plus ground (possible 9) you wish to use and what application you intend to use the plug for. Please note Maplin electronics cannot advise on any individual project design or wiring specifics.
