Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent device for HDMi monitors working at Suitable for 1080p HD resolution, up to 1920x1200 Works great at Suitable for 1080p HD resolution, up to 1920x1200 for Desktop monitors. Beware though this will not support the newer Virtual Reality headsets requiring Preferred Mode: 2880 x 1440(p) (90.000Hz) The workaround is to configure the Desktop monitor onto this device and connect the Windows Mixed Reality Immersive Headset directly into the HDMI 2.0 socket. If you misconfigure you will get a black screen!, then just swap the cables to the above and restart you PC. I bought one of these yesterday to connect my HP Z Book 15 G2 to a projector for presentations, the project detects no signal, any ideas why this is not working?

Asked by: Steve
Have you told the laptop to generate a clone display via the HDMI output, simply connecting a cable does not automatically send data to the HDMI connector. Also have you set the output resolution to a resolution that the projector can decode and display.

https://support.apple.com/kb/sp588?locale=en_GB doesn't show that it has a DisplayPort output. So this product will not work for your application.
