Hi I have only one vga port on my desktop and I want to have a double monitor system  Can I use this USB to vga connector to connect a second monitor

Asked by: Jason
This isn't USB to VGA You can attach a secondary monitor via USB .. you would need the following. http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/usb-20-to-dvi-full-hd-adapter-with-vga-and-hdmi-adapters-a98ha

I want to get a 2 screen setup at my desk. My PC tower (Lenovo) only has one VGA port and on HDMI port in the back. The VGA port is being used by the main monitor already, can I use this cable to connect a second monitor?

Asked by: yeahitsiain
If you have an unused display port socket yes.

Hi - I want to connect a vga monitor to my Toshiba laptob with usb 2/3 connections (also have standard hdmi), would this adapter do the trick? I do not require audio as I will only be using the monitor for docs and photos. Hope this makes sense! Thanks

Asked by: Susan
Unfortunately not, this would require a display port on the laptop.
