What can I use these batteries for?
These AAA batteries are incredibly popular and versatile. They are often used in TV remotes, digital cameras and more.

These extra-long-life batteries are specially designed for high drain and digital applications, and can be used straight out of the pack. They also utilise superb leak proof technology and offer excellent value as a multi pack, giving 20% more capacity than standard alkaline batteries.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These batteries last a lot longer than others that claim to be 'Extra Long Life' and are ideal for games consoles such as the Nintendo Wii controllers and Wii fit board. I have yet to be convinced that rechargable batteries are the better option than good quality Extra Long-Life Alkaline Batteries especially when bought in bulk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This pack represents excellent value. So many devices use batteries these days that you cannot afford to get caught out, so as a business, we always keep a good stock. With Maplin's fast turnround service, I can normally order one day and get delivery the next day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have not had any problem with these - in fact I have found that these batteries compare very favourably with any other brand. I use them with Lego motors, working with school kids. The batteries take a real hammering, five days a week and have lasted much better than any other type.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from These batteries did not last. Out of the packet many had already run out. Not value for money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not very happy this time,, the first 4 or 5 batteries where flat,,?? so ime not very hopefull of the rest of pack. Didnt bother to return them as its to much trouble ( as i am disabled ), and cant find returns label,, so will gamble on the rest

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They Keep The Kids Quiet I purchase a 100-pack of AA and AAA batteries about once a year but they are an excellent battery. We all have an abundance of devices requiring a power supply and half a box will keep me going for a while. They are good enough to use in my DSLR camera without running out of juice at an important moment. The other 50 batteries? I give them to a neighbour with three children who have an insatiable need for batteries for their toys etc. :-)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaked It worked fine for around 2 years but then it began to leak in my TV remote and a white substance coated the surface of the battery, the battery compartment and came to the exterior of the remote.

Hi can you tell me more about the leak proof technology and any warranty that it works?  Thanks

Asked by: Mike
The factory we have them produced in is using vertical integrated production (which means we make all the parts and components in-house for assurance of their accuracies and precision). Plus a good battery sealing technique, as well as strict in-process quality control and outgoing goods quality surveillance. In other words, it is a good battery sealing technique to prevent from leakage.

Are these supposed to be used in a digital camera?

Asked by: Gingablade
They would not be ideal, normally a digital camera would have a high discharge so lithium batteries would be the best option.
