Simple yet Safe
This keypad control alarm is great for keeping your home, garage or store room safe and secure. Thanks to the four-digit code panel on the front, you can have added assurance that the area you are trying to protect is safe and secure. The alarm can be wall mounted either flush with the wall or with the ball head joint mounting bracket. This a simple yet effective solution to keeping areas monitored and safe with minimum investment.

How does the alarm work?
The alarm has a detection range of six metres, and detects at an angle of 70 degrees vertically and 110 degrees horizontally. The alarm is triggered once it detects movement, and depending on which mode you have it set to, will make one of three audible alerts. The available modes are: Alert mode, Arm mode, and panic mode. Alert mode lets off an audible alert when a motion is detected in the area, just to notify you that someone is there. Arm mode lets off a continuous siren for 30 seconds when movement is detected. Panic mode plays an ongoing continuous siren to alert nearby people.

If the PIR points at a glass back door 3m away, will this unit pick up movement on the other side of the glass outside?

Asked by: Dave60
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this would be suitable for your intended application. it is unlikely to work.

How long do the batterys last?

Asked by: andy
Sorry but this really is a how long is a piece of string question. If the alarm is in an isolated location and only activates once a week it could last for months. However if it is triggered 10 times a day the batteries will be exhausted much quicker.
