Rated 3 out of 5 by from In general use, torches & the such, I find these batteries excellent. Unfortunately in a heavy load situation about 30% of these batteries fail very quickly, I assume, but do not know, that there are poor internal connections that cannot stand up to the load in high drain situations. Out of 32 batteries I have 10 failures, I use the batteries in groups of 8 & in each case one or two batteries have failed in each group with the other 6 or 7 batteries in each group testing fully charged. I would add I have had failures with new batteries from other manufacturers but not at such a high failure rate as these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dead in the packet!!! I decided to go for the Lithium Maplin AA batteries instead of my usual Duracell Pro Cell alkaline. What a mistake. Having loaded them into my device, it would not turn on. I checked the batteries with a voltmeter and found that 2 were giving 1.3v one was at 0.6v and the other one was DEAD 0.0v All I can say is that I am utterly disappointed after buying Maplin's 'top of the range' battery and shall be returning them tomorrow.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought these Maplin own brand as they had no Energiser anywhere in the Northwest. Got home put them in camera and "low battery" switched itself off. No expiry date on pack or battery. Had to go all the way back to the store to resolve the problem.

am trying to find out if I can take your AAA lithium batteries on a plane - hand/hold luggage or not at all.

Asked by: John T
I can't answer that. You would need to speak to the operator of your flight and the airport you are flying from and to.

Dobyou stock 3.7v as size li ion batteries

Asked by: Mark
We stock a range of 3.7v Li-Ion, you would need to provide the specific number on the battery you are replacing. For example this one is a "18650" battery http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/18650-lithium-ion-rechargeable-battery-1-pack-a09lc
