I want to use this as a protective coating for a humidity sensor. Reviews online for the sensor say that it will short out over time in high humidity conditions, my desired humidity condition being 75-85%. Will this provide adequate protection?

Asked by: Mark2105
If you were to coat the humidity sensor to protect from high humidity, it will likely have an adverse effect on the sensor operation, as it would no longer be exposed to the correct humidity levels and give false readings.

I want to cover a shower PCB with this stuff as it keeps cutting out due to getting damp/wet! Would it work? BTW, the shower does work fine (9/10) but I'm sure the fault is down to the front circuit board (On/Off & Temperature Switch) letting in water.
