A standard phono plug with a coloured plastic screw-on body. When the body is unscrewed, the threaded moulding on the plug is exposed, which is colour matched to the body. The body is of hexagonal section and includes a strain relief sleeve.

Are these a solder termiantion or screw down?

The middle is commonly the positive, and the outer is commonly negative.

hi what sort of cable do i use for this product just any sort of 2 core cable i want to use 2 at the same time can i use a 4 core cable to do this

Yes that is correct, per plug you only need 2 core cable, so to run two plugs, 4-core would be necessary.

I have a bare speaker wire cable from a speaker.. will this plug mean I connect it to a phono output?

Some suround sound systems use phono plugs for speaker connections so this plug would be suitable for that. However, this is not common on most hi-fis, which usually use a spring-loaded connector that accepts the bare wires.
