What advantages does this mouse have?
There’s no need for wires with this smart dark grey wireless mouse that’s simple and easy to use. Great for everyday use it has six buttons including a metallic scroll wheel for easy and quick navigation in documents and on the web and two side buttons above the thumb. Measuring 124.8mm x 67.7mm x 40.8mm this mouse is designed for a comfy grip and can be used by right-handed users.

Is this mouse plug and play?
This wireless mouse works by plugging the nano USB receiver into a USB socket and with its compact size it won’t be easily knocked out. When you’ve finished using your mouse you can even leave it in the port for the next time. Compatible with Window 7, 8, 8.1 and 10, the mouse runs off two AA batteries which are included.

What is BlueTrace?
The BlueTrace LED sensor ensures a smooth and precise tracking for the mouse and can be used on almost any surface. It works using the blue LED beam with an image sensor and pixel geometry to build a high contrast picture of most surfaces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oh What Joy! A man's mouse. Not one of those made for the hands of pre-school children. Oh what joy! Plug 'n' play - no waiting for drivers to install. 2 switches under one's thumb for going backwards and forwards in a browser (and Windows Explorer). One can switch the DPI between 1600 (default) and 1000 - it will come in handy even if I never use (as my father used to say). They say it will work on a glass desk, the arm of a chair and even the carpet - and it DOES. Isn't modern technology wonderful. I highly recommend this for anyone who is fed up with a small, fiddly mouse. You will wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I recently bought this mouse and have no trouble with it. It's easy to install, works well and is accurate which helps when gaming and doing graphics design. Its also portable so I use it to take around with me with my laptop and the ability to use with out a wire makes it even better

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Mouse i have ever used! I bought this 2 days ago on Saturday and so far this is the best mouse i have ever used.I love the ergonomics on this mouse and it fits the average hand perfectly. perfect for both everyday computing and gaming, this mouse comes with a feature I only know works on google chrome so far and that is the next and previous buttons that come pre-programmed. I love the button on the to below the scroll wheel that automatically turns the sensitivity up so you don't have to waste time entering and exiting the pause menu. In conclusion i would rate this mouse an honest 10 out of 10 on performance, features, and ergonomics

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soon sorted I had a problem with a mouse which I purchased whilst on holiday in UK. I didn't find the problem until several weeks later when back in my home country, I found the chip which plugs into the tower was missing. I contacted them and they said I needed to produce the receipt, which of course I didn't have, however, I could give them the place date and approximate time I purchased the item. I was delighted the next day to receive an email saying they had checked the stores records and found my purchase, and immediately sent me a complete new mouse. That's what you call Customer Service. Well done Maplin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bought this mouse a few months ago, the first attempt was thwarted by the mouse being broken. The second mouse provided has operated with little fault ever since. Large size is benefit, as is small wireless connector. Battery cover is a bit difficult to use, only other issue has been that rarely the cursor jumps 2 inches to the right at random occasions upon movement of the mouse.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from One improvement needed The mouse itself installed without a problem and with the two settings will perform all tasks with ease. My problem with the design is the ON OFF switch. It is so small that even the standard finger nail often fails to work, a pencil point or the end of a pair of scissors is more suited.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good sized responsive mouse It is a good sized mouse that fills your hand which is uncommon with wireless mice from my experience. I've found it to be a pleasure to use, very precise and no problems so far. It isn't good looking but neither is it ugly, it is a very functional product but may not appeal to those who adhere to "gaming fashion". It's like that reliable car that always performs but nobody notices. So far it is still on the original battery that came with it (about 3 months ago) so it performs well in that regard. I bought another one of these for my portable PC I was that impressed. I've had expensive gaming mice in the past and this is just as good in my opinion, £100 vs £12.99 similar performance - you may want to pay £87.01 more for that achingly beautiful gaming mouse and that is up to you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's alright The mouse is of an ergonomical design which suits someone with large hands, however being portable i would have expected there to be a place to store the chip to make the mouse more portable. I seriously think I'll lose the chip since I have nowhere to store it in the mouse. The wheel also gets stuck a lot of the time. Bottom line you get what you pay for. this mouse is light and it's very responsive however it lacks simple design features.

Where can I download the drivers or instructions from? The mouse installed ok but I can't get the side buttons to do anything.

Asked by: Chris
The side buttons move back and forward on a webpage only, there is no software to map these differently.

I have stopped using this mouse and started to re-use it, but it won't connect to my PC. I have tried using the Connect button and replaced the batteries but to no effect. How do I make it work, please?

Asked by: Clive
I have just tested one, Placed battery in the item placed the switch in the on position and plugged the USB adapter in and the item worked. The one you are using may have a fault.
