Rated 2 out of 5 by from First Review Rejected by Maplins I purchased this keyboard from Maplins direct, I have replaced the device with 2 x AAA batteries twice since new.The product was ideal for the limited space on my desk. But after 3 months, the keyboard died on me, I changed the batteries and the USB port for the wireless connection, but sill U.S. Now I have the inconvenience to taking it back to the shop, and getting another. How long will the second keyboard last? I have now exchanged the keyboard, and found to my surprise that the keyboard has a 3 year warranty, BUT when opening the package the letter "J" on the keyboard is missing, back to the store again !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money I bought the Maplin pro Wireless Deskset a week ago to use with my MacBook Pro. it was easy to install and it worked right away with no hussle. These were the positive points, apart from the price. The bad points are: the keyboard feels like cheap plastic and some keys are misplaced compared with other keyboards. Some of the keys are not working (volume keys for example), probably because of compatibility issues. the mouse, which has a nice size and handy scroll wheel, jumps from time to time in the screen, as if the signal is not properly transmitted, even when the receiver is less than 50 cm away. Summary: spend some more money and avoid these problems.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It is not compatible with windows 10 The scroll wheel takes me back to whatever page I was reading before. (there is no way of changing this because I would need a driver. Default windows 10 settings give you how fast you want to scroll blah, blah) The left click works when it feels like it. The space bar (which I'm currently having to mash, works when it feels like it. (it never feels like it). You don't even provide drivers. A tech company that does not provide drivers Plugin and play still needs drivers to prevent/solve or at least troubleshoot all of these issues. Heres ademo of typingwithout editing it athousand times ishouldnthave to keep going back overspaceswhen I've already pressed it

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works fine but the wide keys are very flimsy I'd definately recommend you buy a different key-board! I'm actually typing this review with the keyboard and the space bar is being a pain.

Is there an off switch for the keyboard? I use it for when I'm away from my docking station and it stays in my bag, when I'm at my desk, The USB connector stays in the laptop as there is nowhere on the keyboard to store it.

Asked by: Robert
The keyboard times out after no use and goes into an energy saving mode. there is no off switch.

why does the Maplin Pro Wireless Keyboard come with a cable

Asked by: H3rb
This cable is used as an extension for the wireless dongle just in case you do not have a free USB in the front of your PC as this requires a line of sight to operate to its full potential.

I have just purchased this item, with no wires.....which I kind of suspect from a wireless keyboard. I'm willing to gloss over the fact this cost £10 more than it should of but I don't know how to turn it on and how to connect it to my computer...help?

Asked by: Mcard
There are no instructions for this model, as it is fully plug and play, if yours is not working please try changing the batteries and if that fails return the item to us for replacement.

Does it have 'feet' on the underside that allow the keyboard to be slightly angled, and if so then by what height does it raise the keyboard by?

Asked by: Cofty
It does have feet and it would raise the keyboard approx 1 inch.
