What makes this clock different?
This clock comes with a function for projecting the time onto a wall or a ceiling allowing you to see the time at night without having to look at a bright light on your bedside table. This clock also includes a temperature and humidity chart so you can see how comfortable your bedroom is as you snooze.

How easy is it to set the time and alarm?
On the back of the unit, there are five buttons. These are used to change the time and set an alarm. Using the buttons, you can set the time quickly and easily, just remember to watch for the ‘pm’ indicator.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This clock is going back to the store I bought this clock for my son for Christmas. Completely agree with the other reviewer's comments regarding the fact that you have to push a button for the time and projection to display. What is the point of that? We concluded the reason is because the clock is battery operated - - while there is a port for a cord, there is no cord included. A closer inspection of the box does indicate the clock requires batteries. I also felt pretty silly when my twelve year-old pointed out that the weather, humidity, and temperature function is measuring these things based on the inside climate. Good thing this gift didn't come from Santa, as it is going back to the store.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product not meeting my expectations I always visit Maplin Store everytime I visit the UK. Have been buying quite a no. of gadgets from Maplin and quite happy with it except for the projection clocks I bought last March 2015. These clocks do not work as I would expect. It's designed to just run on batteries and not on a separate power source. I managed to plug in a separate power source but then all the clock settings would be reset and I cant do the resetting with the power source attached. You need the power source so that the clock projection would be on all the time. Overall, a bad product Maplin shouldnt bluff the customers with. I plan to throw them into the dustbin tomorrow

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless what a total waste of time. What is the use of a bedside clock when it does not light up unless you press it. Not only does the projection only work when you press the but but the whole clock so imagine being in a dark bed you would need a torch just to see the clock in order to press the button to see the time. It is going back as soon as I can, the clock is not fit for purpose.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what I expected it to The one star reviews make me laugh. It's just basic physics! How can something running on two AAA batteries possibly have a permanent display, let alone project light onto the ceiling? They'd flatten in minutes. The moment you connect a mains adaptor the display and projector both become permanent, which seems just right to me. My only complaint is the irritating animated "temperature difference" bar graph. I think that could keep me awake. Oh well, duct tape to the rescue. P.S. 'Weather' display was only ever going to me a silly gimmick at this price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from clock Rubbish you can't even see the numbers on the screen and when your in bed you need to wake up press the button and see the time but the backlight blinds you so i needed to bring it back to the store and get my money back and buy it some where else. DO NOT BUY!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product - helps sleep because it doesn't light up all night! Contrary to the other reviewers this clock is perfect because it doesn't disturb sleep by being bright all night! It only lights up when you press the button which is fine because you clearly need to be awake to want to see the time anyway! A great sturdy product and the batteries have lasted for ages.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Functions work good The clock is very good it says the tim and also tells you the heather and humidity. It's is great value for money. The only downside is that when the alarm goes off and starts beeping it's a bit quiet and not as loud as I would but apart from that it's very good.
