Will it work with Apple Mac os 10.8.6?

Asked by: Ooty
The hardware itself will allow you to connect to a HDMI display via USB 3 as long as the hardware and operating system you are using supports it. You would need to check if the hardware you own and the operating system you have supports this feature, we would not have this information. Best source for this info is likely to be Apple as they both manufacture the hardware you own and produce the operating system software you are using.

If I put this into the back of my computer (USB 3.0), and then a HDMI cable into the port connecting to my screen, will I be able to extend/mirror? (my screen is actually a kano screen kit, look it up if you need a resolution for the screen)

Asked by: harambe_is_NOT_dead
With the included software, the adapter will come up as an external graphics processor and allow you to use the normal multi-monitor functions provided by your system.
