What comes with this deskset?
Get a full sized slim keyboard and mouse and run them off a single USB socket with this deskset. Using the reliable 2.4GHz wireless connection you can use both devices up to 10m away from the receiver. This means you’ll never have to worry about wiring getting in the way.

What keyboard comes in this set?
With a full sized keyboard you get all the keys you could want with a full number pad and nine hot keys. You can use the hot keys to control your volume or control your play/pause from your keyboard as well as accessing email or web home at the touch of a button .The keyboard gets its power from two AAA batteries (included - replacement Order Code L42AL).

What mouse do I get with it?
This great full size mouse is shaped for right handed users and comfortable even for hours of use. With an adjustable dpi optical tracker you can get smooth, precise and accurate tracking at either 1000 or 1600dpi. The mouse is powered by two AAA batteries (included - replacement Order Code L42AL) and will automatically go into standby to save power.

What is the deskset compatible with?
The deskset is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 10. With its plug and play connectivity, you just need to plug the USB receiver in and start writing typing – it’s that easy. The nano USB receiver is so small you can just leave it in your computer or laptop and forget about it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a true 'plug in and play' item and from that perspective it's great. I bought it to replace the worn out keyboard and mouse on my Acer desktop, this is far better and a lot cheaper than the Acer replacement. I particularly like the extra hot keys although the email one does go straight into my hotmail account with going through log in, which is not ideal, so I've linked it to a old email address I don't use any more. But this has a nasty fault because the connecting brackets for the wrist support are held on by four little screws that scratch the heck out of my desk so I've removed it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A mediocre desk set. Do not use this for gaming, especially games where you have to make sure you press the keys at the precise time. the keyboard is sometimes unresponsive so when typing or playing games it will not respond and do nothing. The mouse broke easily, both buttons, left and right broke within 2 months. Overall it is not very good but it is quite cheap so if you are on a budget you can buy this but i suggest buying other desk sets instead.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hotkeys I bought this the other day. I have a problem with the hotkeys. I find them only marginally useful. I use the keyboard on my lap and keep accidentally touching the hotkeys, sending the computer and me off on a wild goose chase. I could not find a way of disabling them as there seems to be no accessible software. However, I have found a hardware solution: insert a used match under the keys. This does the job admirably. A bit of adhesive tape is needed to keep them in place. Perhaps Maplin could include a switch in future models. I do not have a problem with the spacebar.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Found the mouse very good but the biggest problem is the keyboard when typing and hitting the space bar I have found that the only time it works correctly is when you hit the space bar directly in the centre if you only hit the left or right side of the spacer bar it dose not put the space, this can be very annoying if you are like me and look at the key board when typing and not at the screen

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product. Needed another keyboard for my old tabletop DELL. Researched all the Maplin available keyboards and the one I chose fitted the bill. Receiving the keyboard took two working days and came perfectly packaged and contained everything including batteries! Connecting via the nano to the Tabletop computer was a cinch and I was up and running with both mouse and keyboard in minutes. Ergonomically a vast improvement over many keyboards which also has additional (9) keys which would have been on my wish list and now I have it. I have plugged this system into many other computers and works exactly as they should and fast. Some keyboards have a slight delay. This keyboard and mouse does not I recommend this unit on both price and tech. Well done Maplin!

Dear Team, I have received as a birthday present a 2.4G Wireless Optical Mouse and Keyboard (model-N68JX). Unfortunately in the box I could not find any USB connection. I do not want to tell my friend what happen, instead I would fixed this. Is there any

Asked by: Marius
The USB receiver should be stored in the mouse, next to the battery compartment. This should have been pre-installed in this location so would not have been separate in the box.
