This kit comes complete with everything you need to start watching television while you’re away. It comes with a 55cm circular satellite dish, a tripod to stand it on, a universal LNB to receive the signal, 10m of multi-strand flexible cable to plug into your satellite box and ground pegs to keep everything in place. The integrated satellite finder helps you while you locate a satellite to get the strongest signal possible. The only item you need to provide separately is a satellite box.

Where can I use this satellite kit?
This satellite dish is suitable for use within the UK and can also be used in the North of France if you want to receive UK television.

How do I know where to point the satellite dish?
To get a good signal for your satellite dish you’ll need to make sure it’s pointing in the right direction and at the correct elevation. The included compass and markings on the tripod will help you position it correctly whilst the simple chart on the back of the dish will help you choose the right elevation. You can then use the integrated satellite finder to pinpoint the strongest signal. If you’re struggling to find a good signal thiswebsite . will help.

What channels am I able to receive?
There are over 240 free-to-air television channels at your disposal on the Astra 2E satellite. From terrestrial channels such as BBC One and ITV to extended channel ranges in shopping and music, there is a channel for every taste. Can this be used indoors or only outside? Renting various places and unable yo attach a dish to a wall.

Asked by: Claire
Unfortunately, as a satellite requires an unobstructed sight of the satellite, it is unlikely that the dish will operate indoors.

Yes you would need a satellite decoder box connected to a TV in order to view the programmes that the dish is receiving. Typical example.
