Rated 5 out of 5 by from In the demise of analogue TV I purchased a 9" portable digital Freeview TV for use in the car when I was out and about. ( Only when stationary of course) Unfortunately couldn't get a signal to receive any picture. Purchased the booster and in no time at all had it tuned in to receive all the Freeview channels. Very pleased with its performance

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beware This item requires a 12v power supply which I can't see mentioned anywhere in the description

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No Power Supply supplied ? This tiny gadget sits out of sight and does what it claims, it improves TV reception, bought because my new 4k TV demanded a better signal than the previous TV and it's a lot easier and cheaper than getting a new aerial, BUT .... this does not come with the 12v 2amp power supply that is needed, I feel strongly that this should be mentioned in the blurb !

is this any good where the weak signal is caused by trees blocking the aerial?

Asked by: quilp
This would be suitable to boost a weak signal, but can only boost so far, a clear line of sight would likely be the best boost for you, we do offer a professional aerial installation and repair service, if this would be of any use, please see the link below for more details: http://www.maplin.co.uk/freesat-aerial-installation
