I currently have a sky cable run through the house with F Connectors - will this adapter allow me to use this cable for freeview RF IN. If not which should I use? Thanks!

If this is a coax plug to F Plug there seems to be no Nut on the F plug to Screw it onto the back of a receiver with an F female socket.

This is because this is an F socket, It's the male F plug that has the nut.

Ive been told that Virgin Media Cable, before it enters the Settop box is suitable to be pluged straight into the arial in the back of a tv to get normal TV signal using an adaptor, would this be what im after?
