• Accurately display weights in grams, ounces, carat• Weighs items from 0.1 up to 200 grams with 0.1g resolution• One touch zeroing• Unit counting function• Easy to read illuminated digital display

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It automatically turns off after a few minutes. If you are weighing out ingedients using the "tare" function - i.e. press "tare" to zero display, add X grams of ingedient, press "tare" again to zero, add Y grams of second ingredient etc, it can suddenly switch off halfway through adding an ingredient, losing its "tare" setting so you don't know how much you have left to add.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a lot of good without a 200g calibration weight I bought this item yesterday, it will be going back tomorrow. It is absolutely useless without the 200g calibration weight. Once you have held the units button in, as advised in the instructions you have to put a 200g weight on it for the calibration to take place. Other suppliers provide a weight with their scales, usually 100g.

I bought this item recently. When I power on I get a display that reads 'OUT2' There is nothing in the instructions that covers this. It worked fine yesterday when I was measuring single small electrical washers. I have also changed the batteries for new.

The OUTZ display indicates out of calibration. It needs calibrating. First, find another machine to weigh a thing on, and find a thing that weighs 200g. (I used a candle in a glass which was nearly the weight, and put coffee beans one at a time on top of it until it just tipped 200g.) Now press down ''Units" and turn it on, holding both buttons until it displays Cal, and then press the Units button to get it to flash, then press to display 200.0g. Place your 200g weight on it. That should satisfy it.

Is the Tare button not the silver button to the right of the on/off button? My question was regarding the small circle with the black dot which appears on the bottom left of the display above the oz/g sign. It flashes on and off.

This is the ounces / gramms indicator.

What is the small circle with the black dot which flashes on and off? It's on the bottom left of the display just above the g.

This is the tare button and will zero any item added to the pan symbol.

Hi, I am looking for some instructions on how to calibrate my scales, can't find the details that came with them.
