About this product

Product overview

• Get AM and FM radio anywhere you are with this portable rechargeable radio
• Charge your battery from a USB lead, hand crack dynamo or solar panel
• Great in an emergency with a torch, ultrasonic dog whistle and USB power bank

Where can I use this radio?
This AM/FM radio is ideal for taking on camping, hiking or fishing trips. The radio has its own built-in power as well as a host of other useful abilities. Listen to your favourite channels anywhere you go or use to charge up your electronic devices such as your phone or tablet (device to USB cable required). Know when you need to head back with a built-in clock and always see what you’re doing with a backlight on the clear LCD screen.

What else can this radio do?
This is the radio you want in an emergency. The radio has a powerful torch which uses Cree LEDs, two brightness settings, an SOS beacon mode and an ultrasonic dog whistle that will help search and rescue teams find you in an emergency. With the 3.5mm headphone socket you can respect the peace and quiet of nature and those around you while listening to your favourite radio station.

How do I charge this radio?
If you run out of power don’t worry – this radio has plenty of options. The hand crank dynamo gives you approximately nine minutes of radio for every minute of cranking. The radio also has a solar panel on the top, so just place it in the sun to start charging. Alternatively, you can run the radio off six AA batteries (not included Order Code L43AL) and when you get home you can recharge the battery from a USB port.
