Product overview

• Measure and record acceleration readings over time with the acceleration datalogger
• Record up to 6,144 samples with data in three axis
• Use to study acceleration changes from ± 78.45m/s2 in a resolution of 0.6129m/s2 during experiments
• Everything is built into a single unit including the power supply and USB to review the data
• Suitable for ages 11+ with adult supervision

Special feature
• With its built in USB it’s easy to connect to your PC and the datalogger is compatible with Windows Vista and later Windows OS

How much data can I gather?
Collect up to 6,144 samples with acceleration on three axis. Get detailed data on acceleration and direction with a range of ± 78.45m/s2 (±8g) with a resolution of 0.6129m/s2 (62.5mg). You can set recording to 50 samples a second or 200 samples a minute and the range can be reduced to ±2g to increase the resolution. The recommended temperature ranges for use are -20°C to 60°C.

How does the datalogger work?
All the components for the datalogger (314-908) are housed inside its plastic casing including the sensor, memory and battery - there’s no need for any wires or extra hardware. The device comes in the form of a USB stick so retrieving your data is as simple as plugging into your PC or laptop’s USB socket. There is free downloadable software available to program the data recorder which is simple and easy to do. You can optionally set up a delay of up to 99 seconds before it starts recording. The datalogger uses a CR1220 battery that should last 1000 logs and can be replaced (See our range here) and is compatible with Windows Vista or later.
